My missionary
So, I have been thinking for a few weeks that I should really actually use this blog. I don't do a good job of journaling so this would be a great way to keep up on it. I don't want this time to go by without documenting the events of my life. So, Brandon left on Dec. 28th to go to the MTC. It has been an interesting 3 plus weeks. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we know that our sons will most likely serve a mission. I have thought about it and talked about it since I knew I was having a boy. It is such an incredible opportunity for a young man. Brandon is serving a mission in Samoa. He is giving 2 years to the Lord where he focuses on serving the Lord and the people of Samoa. I am not going to say it is not hard. It is! I miss him so incredibly. Every day I think of him and hope and pray that he is doing well. Some days are easier than others. I am hoping that everyday will get easier. Brandon was such a huge influence on our family. His siblings adore him and look up to him. I am so grateful but it makes it difficult! I received my first photos of him in the MTC. He seems so happy! He has such an incredible opportunity! I hope he makes the most of every moment!
